Periorbital Vein Treatment (Eye Veins)

With the newest, state-of-the-art lasers, we can eliminate unwanted large and bulging blue veins around the eyes and face without any down time as well as treatment of fine telangiectasia, spider veins and small angiomas, especially recalcitrant vessels that have shown a resistance to sclerotherapy, laser or IPL treatment.

The Treatment

The laser treatment involves pulses of light energy carefully directed at the vein, which causes the blood within it to coagulate. This leads to the destruction of the blood vessel which is reabsorbed by the body. Meanwhile blood flow is redirected to deeper veins in the face.

The treatment typically takes 15-30 minutes. A cooling gel is all that is necessary during the procedure.

While lasers and other light-based solutions are expensive, skin-type dependent and have an inherent risk of injury, EVRF uses a hair-thin, insulated probe to thermocoagulate and  eliminate vessels dependably, repeatably, on any skin-type and on any part of the body.

    • Eliminates large blue facial veins and veins around the eyes
    • Removes or reduces broken capillaries on the face, neck and chest
    • Tanned skin can be treated
    • No down time
    • Minimal risk
    • Other benefits include removal of leg veins, improvement of sun damage and wrinkled skin, permanent reduction of unwanted hair, and the stimulation of new collagen synthesis to improve skin tone

In this procedure, your doctor injects the veins with a solution that scars and closes those veins, causing the blood to reroute through healthier veins. In a few weeks, treated spider veins fade. Although the same vein may need to be injected more than once, sclerotherapy is usually effective if done correctly.
Sclerotherapy doesn’t require anesthesia and can be done in your doctor’s office. Side effects include swelling, itching and skin color changes in the treated area.
